My research as to why the HR3200 Health Care plan will not work
This plan is excessively complex. Who can understand this stuff? You have to jump through five hoops just to get to the part to see if your plan is “acceptable”.
The net result- I cannot keep my current plan despite the statements made by the President as recently as August 11. I either pay the tax surcharge or a higher premium, or go with the public option. Continue reading
Will our elected officials listen?
We need elected officials that will listen and respond to the members of their district. That is what representative democracy is all about. We’ll never agree 100% on everything, but each of our voices needs to be heard. Our elected officials should strive for a budgetary policy that:
1) Reduces the size of the federal government,
2) Allows us to live within our means (eliminate debt before new spending), and
3) Saves for the future. Continue reading
